SPLit is a Solana-native bill splitting app that lets you create groups, log shared expenses, and settle debts instantly using SOL or USDC. Unlike traditional apps like Venmo or Splitwise, SPLit settles on-chain in under 400 milliseconds with fees averaging just $0.001 per transaction.
02.Connecting Your Wallet
SPLit supports Phantom, Solflare, and Backpack wallets. Simply click 'Connect Wallet' on the homepage and select your preferred wallet. If you don't have a wallet installed, we recommend starting with Phantom -- it's the most popular Solana wallet with a smooth mobile experience. Don't worry if you're just testing -- SPLit has a simulation mode that works without a real wallet.
03.Creating Your First Group
Once connected, head to the Dashboard and tap 'Create New Group.' Give it a name (like 'Roommates' or 'Trip to Miami'), select a type, and paste in your friends' wallet addresses. Each group tracks its own expenses and balances independently.
04.Adding an Expense
Inside a group, tap the '+' button to add an expense. Enter the description, amount, currency (SOL or USDC), and who paid. SPLit automatically calculates equal splits across all group members. Category tagging helps you track spending patterns over time.
05.Settling Up
Go to the Balances tab to see who owes what. SPLit uses a greedy optimization algorithm to minimize the number of transactions needed. Tap 'Settle' on any balance entry, confirm the amount, and approve the transaction in your wallet. Settlement confirms on Solana in under a second.
